Job description

GrowthAssistant is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented MailChimp AdministratorThe role involves overseeing end-to-end email communications across five major listservs, ensuring audience segmentation, data centralization, and campaign optimization to support revenue and engagement goals. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to maintain email tools, ensure compliance (GDPR/CCPA), monitor KPIs, and advise on strategy, automation, and best practices.

The Role
  • Oversee all aspects of email communication to external audiences (community members, subscribers) across 5 major email listservs as the final touchpoint
  • Maintain list organization, leveraging automation and segmentation to ensure cross-pollination of lists
  • Ensure that relevant personal information obtained from various lists is centralized and available for targeting purposes
  • Maximize revenue opportunities on sponsored campaigns by collaborating with the branded editorial and integrated marketing teams
  • Maintain documentation on Mailchimp, or other email client, and conduct periodic trainings for all team members
  • Advise on overall campaign strategy and email marketing best practices for all key teams
  • Identify and evaluate GDPR/CCPA/privacy compliance and ensure compliance across all lists
  • Expand data collection efforts to ensure that we have a complete picture of open rates, clickthrough, and other key performance indicators
  • Monitor audience and campaign KPIs, and provide regular reporting on subscriber growth, email health, etc. for all email stakeholders, as well as weekly/monthly performance analysis
  • Evaluate current suite of communication tools, including Mailchimp, Mailmerge, and others, and make recommendations for changes as needed

The Requirements
  • Email HTML authoring skills 
  • Experience with Mailchimp as well as other email tools in the space (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hubspot, Sailthru, etc)
  • Experience reviewing, updating and scheduling digital campaigns that include copy, code, creative review
  • Experience working with complex data structures and systems
  • Intermediate experience with Google Sheets

Nice to Have
  • Experience with Funnel or similar data management tool
  • SQL or Business Intelligence experience (Looker, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Experience with Sendgrid
 Critical Soft Skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines, adhere to fast response times, and highly detail-oriented
  • Highly proficient in English speaking and writing 
  • Has exceptionally high attention to detail — you always double-check everything you do, and you make sure to follow the guidelines
  • Is very thorough — obsessed with double-checking everything, testing, and making sure everything works properly
 

Compensation Range: ₱60,000 to ₱85,000/month
