Job description

The Manager, Sales Excellence, reporting to the Sales Regional VP – West is responsible for supporting the execution of strategic sales initiatives and ensuring high-quality engagement with internal and external stakeholders. This role plays a key part in supporting Corporate Account partnerships. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports but requires strong collaboration across multiple departments, including Sales, Operations, and the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic thinking, sales support expertise, and project coordination.

Duties & Responsibilities

       Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Assist with executing initiatives related to Corporate Accounts and brand-specific campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales support functions with business goals.
  • Support sales process improvements and contribute to the standardization of tools and best practices, as needed.

Customer Relations & Retention

  • Serve as a key point of contact to support Corporate Account teams and help resolve customer-facing issues.
  • Identify accounts with declining revenue trends and assist in developing strategies for retention and growth.
  • Partner with Sales and Operations to proactively improve customer experience and service delivery.
  • Monitor and report on customer insights and service challenges, escalating as needed.

CRM & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records and tracking of customer activities, sales support tasks, and follow-ups in the CRM system.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Conduct ad hoc reporting and data analysis to support account strategy and decision-making.

Sales Enablement

  • Assist in documentation and rollout of initiatives that help field teams engage more effectively with clients.
  • Promote utilization of CRM and other platforms to improve visibility and consistency in customer interactions.

Education, Training & Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales support, account management, or sales operations.
  • Familiarity with the veterinary, pet care, or healthcare industry is an asset.
  • Proven experience working cross-functionally and supporting senior stakeholders.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel approximately 10% to 15% as required

  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to create and interpret reports.
  • High proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing deadlines and priorities.
  • Professionalism, adaptability, and attention to detail.

Working Conditions

  • Remote-based position with regular travel (up to 15%, including some overnight stays and occasional weekend work).
  • Prolonged periods of computer and phone usage.
  • Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs during event or tradeshow setups.
  • Exposure to elevated noise or heat levels during Care Center visits may occur.
  • Some weekend work maybe required
