Advantage Investigations is seeking a Full-Time Accounting Manager.  The Accounting Manager will oversee the daily accounting operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting. This role is responsible for managing the month-end close process, preparing forecasts and budgets, and maintaining audit-ready financials. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. They will work closely with the CFO and cross-functional teams, owning key accounting functions and supporting strategic initiatives. This is a hands-on role for someone who brings both technical excellence and strong business acumen, with the confidence to operate independently and keep the department running smoothly during periods of high executive focus. This is a full time remote exempt position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Ensure financials are always audit-ready, including documentation and support schedules
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and rolling financial models
  • Oversee cash flow and working capital tracking
  • Lead AR/AP processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with client and departmental nuances
  • Analyze expense accounts, proactively identifying trends, discrepancies, and areas for cost optimization.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align accounting outputs with strategic and operational goals
  • Partner with the Analytics team to build dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools using Power Bi, NetSuite, and internal CMS
  • Identify ways to automate, optimize, and improve financial operations.
  • Support acquisition due diligence, data consolidation and integration activities, as needed.
  • Serve as a key liaison during external audits, managing PBC requests and ensuring audit efficiency
  • Contribute to ongoing AI implementation efforts, with a focus on finance automation, efficiency, and ROI tracking
  • Handle ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from executive leadership and other departments

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance (CPA preferred) 
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience 
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and sound internal controls
  • Tech-savvy-strong with Excel, ERP systems, BI analytics, workflow automation
  • Demonstrated ability to lead with integrity, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

Compensation: $95k - $105k (commensurate with experience and qualifications). Employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis.
