About the job

We are seeking Independent Sales Contractors who are motivated, relationship-driven, and knowledgeable in life sciences. If you are already connected to researchers at universities, biopharma companies, CROs, CMOs, or CDMOs, this role offers you a unique opportunity to earn meaningful commissions while supporting scientific integrity and reproducibility through cell line authentication services.

 

Job Profile

  • Commission-Based Independent Contractor (1099)
  • Remote – North America (USA & Canada)

 

Responsibilities 

  • Identify, introduce, and pre-register new customers with Psomagen
  • Focus on key client targets: academic institutions, government research centers, biotech companies, and pharmaceutical organizations
  • Promote and educate potential clients on Psomagen's CLA services, including comparative STR profiling against databases or reference cell lines
  • Maintain regular communication and provide basic support until handoff to internal service teams
  • Share feedback from the field to improve service delivery and customer experience

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in biotech, molecular biology, or genomic services sales
  • Established network among life sciences researchers, lab managers, or procurement teams
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to explain technical services in a clear, persuasive way
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and manage your own pipeline

 

 

Compensation & Benefits

  • 100% Commission-Based:
     - Earn commission based on the spread between the customer's payment and Psomagen’s B2B rate (e.g., earn $22.50 to $60.00 per sample, depending on product type and tier)
  • Unlimited Earning Potential:
     - Commission scales with performance—no cap on earnings
  • Quarterly Settlement:
     - Commission paid within 30 days after each quarter
  • Exclusive B2B Support:
     - Sales materials, onboarding training, and ongoing support provided to help you close deals
  • Product Range Pricing:
     - CLA service pricing ranges from $75–$200 per test
