THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for a motivated and detail driven Marketing Coordinator to join our Sydney team. Reporting to the NSW Nominal Insurer (NI) Marketing & Communications Specialist, this newly created role will help deliver outstanding marketing and communication initiatives in support of one of our largest business units.
 

Working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, you’ll collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-impact campaigns and communications. You’ll be a trusted partner across the business, requiring a sharp eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a deep understanding of our brand values. Staying informed about the NSW workers compensation scheme will also be key to your success in this role.

This will be a full time, 12 month contract (with a view to be made permanent) position based in the Sydney office, with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week.
 

Your responsibilities

  • Coordinate branding, events and communications activities from planning through to execution and evaluation.
  • Develop and publish high-quality content across internal and external channels, including intranet, website, LinkedIn and email.
  • Assist in the delivery of marketing campaigns and communication plans aligned to business strategy and key messaging.
  • Track campaign performance, compile reports and support continuous improvement through insights and analysis.
  • Provide administrative support including data entry, document management, and preparation of marketing materials.
     

About you

  • 2 + years’ experience in a similar marketing or communications role, ideally within a fast paced or regulated environment.
  • Proficient in using marketing tools such as Canva, Wrike, Vision6, Google Analytics and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, branding, and digital strategy.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a degree in Marketing and/or Communications.
