Summary of Job Duties:
The Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Emergency Medicine Faculty Member to serve as Residency Program Director. This full-time position is open to ABEM/ABOEM board-certified or board-eligible physicians who are passionate about academic medicine, resident education, and clinical excellence.

Qualifications:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution

  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency program.

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine.

  • Eligible for medical licensure in Arkansas.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong clinical decision-making, leadership, communication, and teaching skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in an academic or teaching environment
