As a Deal Desk Specialist, you will play a critical role in streamlining deal execution and supporting our Sales organization through pricing guidance, policy adherence, and deal compliance. You’ll serve as a trusted partner to Sales, Legal, Finance, and other cross-functional teams, ensuring that deals are structured correctly, approved efficiently, and closed in a timely manner. This is a high-volume role that demands precision, communication skills, and a strong operational mindset.

As Vanta continues its rapid growth, you’ll help scale our deal processes to support the increasing complexity of our business while ensuring alignment amongst our internal operational teams including Deal Desk, various Finance teams, GTM Operations, and Legal.

  • Review and validate deal structures to ensure accuracy, compliance with internal policies, and alignment with revenue recognition guidelines
  • Manage the end-to-end deal process, including structuring, pricing support, and triaging escalations to keep deals on track for timely closure
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Legal, GTM Operations, and Finance to guide deals from proposal to booking
  • Provide strategic guidance to Sales on process, policy, and best practices to improve deal velocity and compliance
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for deal structure and approval workflows
  • Partner with Finance teams during month-end close and audit cycles to ensure deal data is accurate and complete across systems
  • Analyze deal trends and operational metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and responsibilities to support Deal Desk operations
  • 2+ years of experience in a Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or Revenue Operations role at a SaaS or high-growth company
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with diverse stakeholders across Finance, Sales, Legal, GTM Operations
  • Strong knowledge of the end-to-end Quote to Cash process for SaaS companies
  • Strong organizational and execution skills and ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Ability to make and drive process improvements
  • Previous experience working with SaaS Finance teams with understanding of software revenue recognition issues, including revenue recognition under ASC 606
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills to make informed decisions
  • Ability to work quickly and make fact-based decisions with imperfect data
  • Clear communicator with ability to express ideas clearly and effectively
  • Ability to handle peak month-end and end-of-quarter volumes during a time-sensitive environment
