Solution Engineer – Revenera

Location: Remote – United States

Revenera helps software and technology companies monetize, protect, and gain insight into their applications so they can accelerate innovation and drive growth. We provide the technology and expertise to help teams launch products faster, understand usage, and monetize what matters.

As a Solution Engineer, you’ll partner closely with the Field Sales team to uncover business value, support revenue-generating initiatives, and showcase the power of Revenera’s product portfolio. You'll play a key role in the sales process by engaging with prospects, understanding their challenges, and demonstrating how our solutions meet their technical and business requirements. You’ll also contribute feedback to product and engineering teams and participate in strategic initiatives to enhance our sales process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales reps and services teams to drive revenue across software licenses, maintenance, and consulting.
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept activities tailored to each customer.
  • Present Revenera’s solution architecture, features, and benefits—both virtually and in person.
  • Set up and configure product evaluations for prospects.
  • Own the technical components of RFI/RFP responses.
  • Build solution architectures and help shape the customer’s buying vision.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams, sharing insights from the field to influence roadmap decisions.
  • Develop business cases and ROI models that articulate the value of Revenera’s offerings.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in presales, technical account management, tech support, ideally within a software vendor, partner, or a software division of a multinational IT company that emphasizes insights or value-based selling approaches.
  • Understanding of the sales process and the role of Solution Engineers (SE) in the sales cycle.
  • Familiarity with entitlement management systems and software licensing technologies.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business processes from quote to cash.
  • Demonstrated success in customer-facing roles with exceptional public speaking and sales presentation skills (onsite, conference, or seminar).
  • Understanding of software security issues.
  • Technical proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Expereince in developing and delivering proof-of-concepts, customizations, functional demonstrations, and business presentations.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% annually.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (electrical or mechanical), or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
