Description

We are seeking a full-time Grain Customer Service representative at our Goodhue, MN, location. In this role, you will deliver excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering phone calls, and overseeing scale operations. The core working hours are 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Requirements

As a Grain Customer Service representative, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing excellent customer service by answering incoming calls and greeting customers courteously.
  • Operating the scale to ensure accurate transactions.
  • Assisting with grain facility operations and collaborating with operations staff.
  • Supporting customers in the Farm Store with feed orders, loading and unloading products, handling counter sales, and answering product questions. Coordinating order deliveries with other locations. Processing customer payments and handle cash exchanges. Maintaining a clean, well-stocked store that is inviting to customers.
  • May support other departments with accounting transactions, providing the feed department support with software batches and invoice transfers, and tracking farm store inventory.
  • Performing routine maintenance and monitor equipment to ensure it’s in good working order.

Qualifications required:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Previous experience in retail, grain handling, or counter experience is preferred but not required.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, organizational skills, and be able to adapt and prioritize.
  • Proficient computer software skills and a willingness to learn other systems.

The starting pay range for this hourly position is $20.00 to $22.00, depending on your job-related skills and experience. 


A comprehensive benefits package is available to full-time employees, which includes:
