Job description

Our client, a prestigious Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a skilled Applications Engineer to support and enhance its global ServiceNow platform—the firm’s enterprise system of record for ITSM and ITOM functions.

Salary range: $100,000 to $130,000 a year

While the position is remote, the company prefers candidates who reside in or within commuting distance of one of the following locations:

About the Role:

The Applications Engineer will ensure platform stability, performance, and security while driving enhancements and integrations across the firm’s global infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and manage ServiceNow upgrades, configurations, and patching

  • Design and implement scalable platform enhancements per ServiceNow best practices

  • Maintain and monitor MID Servers to ensure high availability and optimal configuration

  • Provide day-to-day operational support across ServiceNow modules (ITSM/ITOM)

  • Lead integrations using ServiceNow Integration Hub

  • Collaborate on Agile/Scrum teams to gather requirements and define user stories

  • Ensure compliance with firm-wide security policies and ISO 27001/2 standards

  • Develop dashboards and customized reporting for key stakeholders

  • Support ITSM governance and process adherence

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 4+ years of experience working with ServiceNow (ITSM/ITOM modules)

  • 4+ years in IT operations with cross-functional collaboration

  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture and best practices

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with ServiceNow HAM Pro

  • Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM frameworks

  • Hands-on experience with CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, and Service Mapping

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
