Corra is looking for a Shopify Plus Developer to join our team. They will work with our project and support teams to provide our clients with high quality development services. They will work with the team on new ecommerce projects, from initial business development and discovery phases through implementation and deployment of the projects. In addition, they will maintain and enhance existing Shopify Plus ecommerce websites while adhering to best practices. Preferably an experienced ecommerce professional, the shopify developer will have a passion for researching and learning the latest digital technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with the Corra team on new ecommerce projects, from initial business development and discovery phases through implementation and deployment of the completed projects
Leading the development and execution of Shopify Plus projects.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
Maintain and enhance existing Shopify Plus ecommerce websites while adhering to best practices
Play a significant role in the requirements gathering, working with Solution Strategists and Delivery Managers by providing technical suggestions.
Partake in Scrum and Sprint planning calls and provide technical input (approach, estimate)
Create high level technical design documentation
Perform code review before deployment and provide technical review/ feedback to engineers
Have a detailed technical understanding on work happening in assigned projects
Have technical ownership of groups of projects.

MUST HAVE SKILL SETS :

5+ years of ecommerce Shopify Plus experience.
Expert in Shopify Front-end Technologies (HTML/CSS/JS/Liquid)
Expert knowledge in Deployment process (Handle the pipeline and release process)
Expert in ES6 and React JS
Expert in REST/GraphQl API knowledge

GOOD TO HAVE SKILL SETS :

Working knowledge in Typescript,Tailwind CSS, Remix
Knowledge and experience in Shopify Hydrogen app
Expertise in Shopify Checkout extensions
Expert in Shopify App development
Shopify Plus project implementation experience
Familiar with GTM,GA4,SEO and Custom Data layer event implementation best practices
Experience in migration of an existing commerce site to Shopify Platform (eg: Magento to Shopify)
Experience with code version/branching tools like Bitbucket/Github/GitLab
Solid knowledge of Page speed optimisations and ADA compliance best practices.
