Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000

CMLS Financial is looking for an Operations Coordinator to join the National Advisory team. Reporting to the SVP, Head of National Advisory, the Operations Coordinator will be responsible for initiating and supporting various operational and strategic objectives. We are looking for a highly organized, personable, and analytical candidate who is highly driven and can thrive autonomously in a fast-paced team environment.

In This Role, You Will

  • Support and coordinate the daily activities of the National Advisory business unit
  • Optimize processes, develop necessary support and resources for the team on an ongoing basis
  • Ensure policies and process guidelines are being followed
  • Collect market data and maintain and improve record-keeping systems
  • Support business planning and provide management with timely reports that outline business updates, pipeline state, priorities, etc.
  • Organize events and liaise with Marketing on deliverables
  • Cross-departmental engagements: assist in communicating between other teams in the organization, including origination and program on joint deals/projects as well as corporate teams (IT, Corporate Services, Facilities) as needed
  • Provide recruiting assistance: liaison with the CMLS HR team to execute recruiting activities for the team’s growth as well as support onboarding new hires
  • Support the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Spearhead various types of projects in a lead role

Skills And Qualifications

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience with project and change management practices
  • Attention to detail and a proven track record of reliability are required
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Google Suite. In addition, proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Power BI, and SharePoint is considered an asset
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills that promote mutually beneficial, respectful, and professional relationships
  • Experience within the financial services industry/ institution and commercial real estate knowledge are considered assets
  • Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential
  • High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks with varying deadlines
