Salary Range: $120,000 - $130,000 (base) The Key Account Manager is remote Approximately 50% travel may be required.
How will you make an impact: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and seasoned Key Account Manager (KAM) with a strong focus on Automation, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI), and Test & Measurement industries. This individual will be responsible for servicing ADLINK’s existing clients and developing new business opportunities in these sectors. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a proven ability to hunt and drive new opportunities, manage strategic accounts, and build deep relationships with customers across both commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and original design manufacturer (ODM) segments.
What will you do:
Develop and execute customer engagement strategies that maximize ADLINK's value proposition and product offerings within the Industrial Automation, display-centric Human-Machine Interface (HMI), and Test & Measurement sectors.
Identify and prioritize target customer accounts in key verticals such as Smart Manufacturing, Logistics Automation (e.g., Machine Vision), and Test & Measurement instrumentation.
Build and maintain a strong sales opportunity pipeline, with a consistent focus on exceeding assigned sales quotas.
Proactively pursue new business opportunities within both new and existing strategic accounts, with a focus on long-term value creation.
Create and maintain strategic account plans to enhance customer intimacy and drive alignment with customer business objectives.
Align ADLINK’s industrial computing, display-centric HMI, and embedded product portfolio with customer needs, leveraging internal resources to support growth within key accounts.
Serve as the primary business interface between ADLINK and COTS/ODM customers, ensuring a high level of responsiveness and trust.
Develop and nurture executive and cross-functional relationships within customer organizations to manage and grow the key account portfolio.
Lead Master Supply Agreement (MSA) negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial terms that support long-term partnerships.
Collaborate with ADLINK’s cross-functional teams—Sales Operations, Marketing, Technical Program Management, and Engineering—to effectively execute sales strategies and deliver on business goals.
Travel domestically, including overnight stays, to engage with customers, attend tradeshows, and represent ADLINK at key industry events.
How will you get here? Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field or equivalent training and/or experience working in the high technology industry with knowledge of essential market strategy planning.
Experience:
At least 5+ years of technical background and solid track sales track record within the Smart Manufacturing, Logistic Automation (Machine Vision), and Test and Measurement related fields.
A successful track record of selling complex hardware solutions to COTS and ODM customers.
Capacity to manage a mix of strategic and proactive account activities, having demonstrated the ability of uncovering, qualifying, developing, and closing new accounts.
Professional, detail-oriented and coachable with polished verbal, written and presentation skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Extremely proactive, highly organized, with proven ability multi-task in a challenging environment and keep accurate pipeline and forecast updated for management.
Self-starter, team player, positive attitude and the ability perform with high levels of autonomy and self-direction.
Customer-centric, consultative and a passion for excellence in sales and service
