We are looking for a Senior Lab Technician with full ownership of handling our Pilot Plant Technical project, who will be passionate about assist in system designs, resolution of design problems and application and/or testing of the products we offer our global clients.

  • Help set up equipment and components for experimentation and pilot plant production.
  • Collaborate with scientists to complete experiments and physically operate the pilot plant equipment within the specified parameters and experimental guidelines.
  • Lead all the necessary paperwork to validate new raw materials inside Hempel.
  • Coordinate the shipments of the Pilot trials around the world for the test patch application.
  • Engage and align with other Hempel colleagues to understand how to best support different projects.

Are You Ready to Achieve Your Full Potential?

  • laboratory technician or equivalent studies related to Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • Previous work related to organic chemistry, polymers or coatings, and working in pilot plan would be an advantage but not required
  • Experience with silicone will be desirable
  • Microsoft office skills.
  • Able to communicate in a clear and consistent way – both verbally and in writing in English.

You are well-structured and proactive, with tight-knit collaboration skills and a hands-on approach in the lab. You feel comfortable working independently and demonstrate a deep passion for sustainability and innovation.
