We are currently seeking a Navy Logistician to join our team on PMS 435, supporting the US Navy.  This position is remote.

 What you’ll do: 

Provide program acquisition and sustainment logistics management, planning, and coordination for engineering and Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements in support of the PMS435 Integrated Logistics Support Manager (ILSM)

Responsibilities:

  • Track and ensure all product support (e.g., IETMs (Interactive Electronic Technical Manual), provisioning), APLs (Allowable Parts List), OBRPs (On-Board Repair Parts), maintenance, training, configuration, etc.) is final and delivered to support upcoming installations. 
  • Track development of product support and brief the status at quarterly ILSMTs (Integrated Logistics Support Management Team) PARM (Program Acquisition Resource Manager) reviews, QPRs (Quarterly Progress Review), etc. 
  • Work with vendors to track the development of maintenance documentation and IETMs. Hold the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) accountable when they are late and impacting schedule
  • Work with OEMs to procure end of life buys 
  • Work with Warfare Centers to determine simple substitutes for obsolete parts or alternatives that meet spec 
  • Review SOWs (Statements of Work) and CDRLs (Contract Data Requirements List) to ensure product support products are sufficiently captured in PMS435 contracts
  • Review ECPs (Engineering Change Proposal), ECIs (Engineering Change Instruction), RFVs (Request for Verification), and CDRLs on iPDM (Integrated Product Data Management) for impacts to product support. Make comments when IETMs, APLs, drawings, training, supply support, etc. are impacted 
  • Assist with the development of the Life Cycle support plan for each system 
  • Assist with the development of I&D (Intermediate and Depot) level maintenance material, stowage lists, battle spares lists, and TMDE equipment to support the CLB program 
  • Assist with running the monthly DMTs (DMSMS Management Team) for each system to review open obsolescence cases and assist with closure 
  • Assist with monthly Risk Assessment Messages for installs that do not have complete product support in place 
  • Assist with ILS cert development and approval
  • Brief at semi-annual ILS Reviews and annual ISRs (Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance)
  • Track RBS (Readiness-Based Sparing) modeling completion for each TI (Technical Insertion) per system 
  • Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC’s clients. These requirements are subject to change without advance notice at the discretion of MBC and MBC’s clients

 

Qualifications:

  • Active DOD Secret security clearance
  • Experience in a lead role with a demonstrated record of success in project execution
  • Expert familiarity with the 12 DoD elements of Integrated logistics Support (ILS)
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and customer interface experience, with excellent verbal and written communication capabilities
  • Familiar with program/project operations including cost, schedule, contract/CDRL and risk management
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
  • High School/GED and at least 7 years of job related Logistics experience, 2 of which must be Department of the Navy, with specific Headquarters/Team Sub experience a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients
