Weâre hiring a Director of Client Engineering to lead how we architect, build, and maintain client-facing technical solutions. This isnât just a people manager role; itâs a strategic leadership position focused on evolving the way Client Engineering is done across Movemedical.
Your mission is to establish standards, enable reuse, manage client-driven technical debt, and ensure every engineering decision supports long-term maintainability. Youâll set the rules of the road for how integrations, configurations, and platform customizations get done and ensure theyâre done right.
This role is truly ideal for someone who thrives on structure, cares deeply about engineering quality, and wants to shape how a growing SaaS company balances speed with scalability.

9+ years in engineering, architecture, or consulting roles in SaaS
Youâve delivered complex solutions across client and platform needs - and know how to do it sustainably.
5+ years leading high-performing technical teams
You mentor, set clear expectations, and hold a high bar for quality and accountability.
Strong grasp of enterprise integrations, APIs, and lifecycle management
You understand how technical choices affect scalability, maintenance, and client impact.
Technical expertise in Java, SQL databases, and integration architecture
You're fluent in the tools that power our platform and know how to apply them effectively in real-world implementations.
Proven ability to standardize and scale client-facing delivery
Youâve led the shift from one-off builds to reusable patterns and built systems that support long-term efficiency.
Experience with change control, governance, and managing tech debt
You bring structure and discipline to fast-paced environments and help others do the same.
A strategic thinker who turns business goals into engineering outcomes
You balance urgency with intentionality and know how to move from ideas to action.

đ„ What You'll Do
đ ïž Engineering & Delivery Leadership
Own the end-to-end delivery of high-impact client engineering projects - on time, within budget, and to quality expectations.
Oversee technical direction for ERP integration layers, reusable platform modules, and enterprise-scale configuration and customization patterns.
Define and implement SDLC best practices to ensure engineering quality, stability, and speed across all customer initiatives.
Maintain a culture of engineering excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement, including code quality, observability, and test coverage.
đ€ Executive & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as the senior engineering partner to Client Engagement, Product, and other Engineering teams to align priorities and ensure holistic delivery outcomes.
Serve as a trusted technical voice in conversations with our enterprise clients, providing confidence, clarity, and credibility.
Represent the engineering function in strategy meetings, roadmap prioritization, and client escalation forums.
đ Strategic Planning & Organizational Growth
Scale the Client Engineering organization to meet growing enterprise demand while maintaining delivery standards and team engagement.
Develop and coach a high-performing management layer capable of owning domains, mentoring engineers, and driving consistent results.
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery velocity, technical debt, incident resolution times, and engineering satisfaction metrics

Base Salary Range: $200,000 - $225,000 USD
Target Bonus: 14% â 18%
Total Compensation Target: $228,000 - $265,500 USD
