Diamond Baseball Holdings

Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH) was formed in 2021 to support, promote, and enhance Minor League Baseball through professional management, best practices, innovation and investment.

We are seeking an experienced and energetic HRIS Specialist to join our HR team as the Paycom system owner across all clubs and employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full configuration, ongoing maintenance, reporting and optimization of Paycom across all modules including Employee & Position Management, Time & Attendance, Learning Management, and Reporting.

This role will report to the EVP, Human Resources, and collaborate closely with the broader HR team.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain core Paycom processes: eg: hiring, onboarding, termination, reporting, and job changes.
  • Support recruitment, payroll, benefits, time & absence, and policy distribution within Paycom.
  • Manage all system configurations, workflows, security access and process automations.
  • Lead setup of Paycom for new clubs and new hires, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and state-specific policies.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with Paycom support when needed.
  • Provide high-level of customer service focus when monitoring and responding to Paycom queries; prioritize and escalate as needed.
  • Build out the Ask Here functionality in Paycom and continue to enhance employee self service and manager self service.
  • Continuously improve Paycom processes and workflows with thorough research, effective solutions, testing, and documentation.
  • Support HR and business leaders with data pulls, org chart updates, and other ad-hoc reporting requests.
  • Deliver system training and support to new hires and new managers.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, HR, or business administration preferred).
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Paycom as a system administrator or HRIS specialist.
  • Experience in training staff on the use of the Paycom system.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to handle high volume projects, while balancing daily and weekly duties.
  • Ability to learn technology quickly through both instruction and self-training/research, investigation of complex issues.
  • Curious, change orientated and passionate about process improvement.
  • Able to use own initiative as well as working as part of a team in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Familiarity with MiLB is a plus.
