Senior Client Finance Analyst, Finance
 
What You’ll Do
As Senior Client Financial Analyst, Finance at Vaniam Group, you will play a pivotal role in managing all forecasting, reporting and accounting for your aligned clients. This includes forecasting, general ledger, billing, reconciliations and month-end and year-end closing activities. You will be an integral part of the Finance team, ensuring compliance with company processes and procedures through all departments, collaborating with our talented, amazing teams.
A Day in the Life
Deliverables
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop, refine, and track client-specific forecasts and budgets and KPIs.
  • Oversee all forecasting for aligned clients by tracking revenue recognition and ensuring compliance with accounting policies, including adherence to statement of work terms and deliverables.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cycles by preparing journal entries, overseeing client billing, reconciling client projects and ensuring financial data accuracy.
 
Client Responsibility
  • Serve as the primary financial point of contact for assigned clients, providing timely, accurate and actionable financial insights.
 
Internal Responsibility
  • You will support your team and participate in the implementation of new financial and accounting processes, helping us to build our company and scale.
 
Other duties may be assigned to help drive deliverables within this role. 
 
What You Have
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 5 to 7 years of accounting or finance experience 
Skills and Competencies 
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and an in-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Ability to organize, analyze, interpret, and evaluate financial data in the solution of management and accounting problems
  • Experience with general ledger function and the month-end and year-end close processes
  • Thorough understanding and proficient with computerized accounting systems and software such as Sage Intacct, Vena, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe, Webex (or other similar systems), cloud-based file servers, calendars, messaging systems, and work management tools preferred 
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
  • Audit and financial review experience
 
What You Might Have, but Isn’t Required  
  • Ability to multitask and work within high-pressure situations
  • Experience working remotely
  • Ability to present and communicate ideas effectively both verbally and in writing, especially to non-financial audiences
  • Experience managing direct reports

Salary offers are based upon several factors including experience, education, skills, training, demonstrated qualifications, location, and organizational need. The range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000. Salary is one component of the total earnings and rewards package offered.
