Position Summary:

As the Field Development Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Member Services field team by providing comprehensive support as well as maintaining and seeking new methods to better serve our members. Your responsibilities will revolve around assisting the Field team in achieving their targets efficiently and effectively. You will be the backbone of the sales process, handling various administrative tasks and ensuring seamless communication between internal departments and external clients.  As a member of the Field Operations team, you will need to: 

Understand Field Team – facilitate the preparation of our Field team to create and capture demand within their accounts and add value to all clients.     

Share information – help field team understand and confidently convey the latest and most strategic initiatives, specific offerings and value propositions. 

Strategy - assist with the creation and improvements to the sales strategy, territory plans, and sales processes so field reps can focus on the job of selling to the right accounts.  

Process – identify best practices and potential differences per segment that will improve win rates or shorten deal time  


Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 

  • On-Boarding - bring Members on-board through a smooth process of getting started with a 30-60-90 day plan that involves training on services, tools, and gathering pertinent information such as Vendor Account numbers
  • Creation and maintenance of Courses and Curriculums in Learning Management System for both Members and Field Team new hires. · Build out a multi-year certification roadmap for Product and Skills Training for the Field Team  organization  
  • Monitor field team activity in relation to distributed leads and maintain Lead Database in CRM.  Monitors events, websites, and other lead generation activities and ensures proper CRM usage.  Assists in prospecting campaigns to drive new business. 
  •  Managing the MSM Team resource site repository and ensures that all information is accurate, up-to-date, and easily readily accessible at point of need.
  • Work with Field Team Leadership to develop consistencies and processes for Member facing activities such as Councils, Region Meetings, and Peer Groups. 
  • Coordinates and manages Field team meetings including coordination and scheduling of other departments or vendors, maintaining training material provided, and ensuring follow up items.  
  • Creation and submission of reports to senior leadership to analyze business and results.   
  • Execute Retention Strategy including analyzing data, follow up to Members, and creation of new programs and services to drive member retention.
  • Creation of Quarterly Business Reviews for field team to present to Members, keeping up-to-date information on State of Business.
  • Tools - select and manage the tools to enable the sales processes and training efforts, including ensuring the tools are being used by the sales organization with a positive ROI.  
  • Measure - ensure the overall enablement efforts are having positive impact on productivity by measuring overall deal volume and velocity, including ramp time for new employees. 
  • Assist in the maintenance and update data in sales portals, knowledge databases and CRM systems.  

Qualifications:

  • An associate’s or bachelor's degree in business administration, business management, or a related field preferred.

  • Proven experience a sales or customer-facing environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
