About The Role
The Director of Quality is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes within the software company. This role ensures that all software products meet or exceed established quality standards and regulatory requirements. The Director of Quality plays a critical role in driving continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.
Core Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive software quality assurance systems.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Lead cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor software quality performance.
Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards and best practices.
Manage relationships with external regulatory bodies.
Oversee user acceptance, alpha, and beta testing efforts.
Other duties as assigned.
Success Metrics
Achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to software quality metrics.
Improvement in software product quality.

Required Qualifications Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in software quality management.

Proficiency in software quality assurance principles and methodologies.
Experience with software quality management tools and automation.
