The Director of Global Neurology Insights is responsible for all market insights and intelligence activities to support argenx global neurology portfolio indications including myasthenia gravis (MG), chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP), and multifocal motor neuropathy (MMN). Roles and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with global commercial leads and key regions to identify intelligence needs and generate market and competitive insights for the neurology portfolio
Liaise with commercialization community, analytics and competitive intelligence to support company, brand, and pipeline planning processes globally
Execute market research globally for insights generation in support of in-line and pipeline neurology indications
Effectively manage multiple external vendor/partner relationships to ensure high quality and insightful deliverables to help manage the business
Lead the proposal, design and execution of qualitative and quantitative market research initiatives to support existing and future assets
Analyze and interpret results from research in context of collective insights, prepare meaningful, timely reports and presentations for the commercialization community and leadership team
Seek opportunities to co-create with internal and external stakeholders in efforts to achieve insights excellence
Contribute to an innovative culture that strives for out-of-the-box thinking and creative approaches to commercial insights utilizing primary and secondary tools
Partner with Finance and Global Head of Insights & CI to manage budgets including vendor agreements and contracts
Contribute to Pharmacovigilance and Global Patient Safety initiatives as they pertain to primary market research
Skills and Competencies:
Technical expertise in qualitative and quantitative market research methodologies
Ability to translate research findings into actionable insights, implications and strategy
Highly skilled in influencing cross-functional teams, including interfacing with key internal and external stakeholders and with scientific and commercial teams
Solid business, planning, and budget management acumen
Adaptive and motivated to execute efficiently
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Ability to manage partner relationships and influence without authority
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time internationally and domestically
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
BA or BS, Advanced Degree Preferred
10+ years in bio-pharmaceutical market research
Comprehensive understanding of common qualitative and quantitative market research methodologies
Start-up and Launch experience a plus
Familiarity with leading pharma industry commercial vendors and data sources
