  • Document in electronic health records and work under supervision of Medical Director.

Description

Established behavioral health company seeking a mid-level practitioner to provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management services in our Outpatient Clinic. Due to recent expansion of services seeking additional psychiatric support. Supervision provided by Medical Director. Population is predominantly children/adolescents with a heavy focus on trauma. Must have experience working in the mental health field and must be willing to collaborate with in house clinicians on shared cases.

Competitive salary and benefits.

Part Time considered but FT preferred

Requirements

 

Qualifications:

· Experience treating adults, children, and adolescents with a variety of mental healthcare needs

· NP: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with psychiatric/mental health specialty

· PA: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

· Licensure issued by NCBON or NCMB with approval to practice as NP or PA and current DEA license

· Population is predominantly children/adolescents with a heavy focus on trauma and must be willing to collaborate with in-house clinicians on shared cases.

· Experience documenting in electronic health record

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Strong organizational skills and time management abilities

· Ability to work independently

· Compassion and empathy for patients with mental health conditions

· Performing history, assessment and diagnosis, treatment planning, preventive measures, referrals, daily documentation, prescribe medication, orders appropriate testing, and collaboration with all levels of personnel

· Work under supervision of Medical Director and Medical Clinic Director

· Maintain scope of practice to be consistent with regulatory guidelines delineated by the North Carolina Medical Board, Nursing Board, and any other federal or state regulatory agencies, as well as the policies of Hope Services

· Understands the values of the organization and supports the mission and management of the organization
