Equipment Maintenance Engineer

This position will ensure that production equipment is in good condition, available, and safe to support manufacturing
goals and objectives

About the job:

  • Ensure equipment is in good condition through technical support on machine maintenance
  • Design toolings, fixtures, and jigs needed by the production
  • Lay out project plan with technicians (conceptualization, needed parts & schedule of activities)
  • Create a system for the stocking of parts, monitoring of withdrawals & acquisition for the replenishment of parts
  • Review requested parts, assist in sourcing of parts, and follow up delivery schedule
  • Support production for equipment re-layout & machine conversions
  • Ensure on-time calibration of equipment
  • Generate work instructions, set-up checklist & control charts as required
  • Conduct training & seek out maintenance activities for each technician
  • Performs maintenance of machines and equipment to be able to produce high-quality products

About you:

  • Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably a licensed Engineer.
  • 5+ years of work experience in an electronics / automotive manufacturing company
  • Knowledge of automation is an advantage
  • Good English oral and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Office / Minitab
  • Preferably with an AutoCAD background
  • With experience in PLC
