Equipment Maintenance Engineer

This position will ensure that production equipment is in good condition, available, and safe to support manufacturing
goals and objectives

About the job:

Ensure equipment is in good condition through technical support on machine maintenance
Design toolings, fixtures, and jigs needed by the production
Lay out project plan with technicians (conceptualization, needed parts & schedule of activities)
Create a system for the stocking of parts, monitoring of withdrawals & acquisition for the replenishment of parts
Review requested parts, assist in sourcing of parts, and follow up delivery schedule
Support production for equipment re-layout & machine conversions
Ensure on-time calibration of equipment
Generate work instructions, set-up checklist & control charts as required
Conduct training & seek out maintenance activities for each technician
Performs maintenance of machines and equipment to be able to produce high-quality products

About you:

Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably a licensed Engineer.
5+ years of work experience in an electronics / automotive manufacturing company
Knowledge of automation is an advantage
Good English oral and written communication skills
Microsoft Office / Minitab
Preferably with an AutoCAD background
With experience in PLC
