We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Quality Assurance Developer to join our dynamic Information Technology team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and supporting innovative software solutions that drive business success across our Consumer and SMB go-to-market channels. As a leader in quality assurance, you’ll be encouraged to adopt an engineering mindset, championing the best practices, fostering innovation, and delivering real-world solutions that shape the future of our technology landscape.
As a Lead Quality Assurance Developer-Mac Platform, you will:

Develop a strong foundational understanding of the Carbonite product suite and its key functionalities.

Learn the team’s automation tools, testing environments, and current quality assurance processes.

Gain hands-on experience with the existing test infrastructure, including test codebase and implemented test cases.

Collaborate actively with peer engineers through design reviews, code walkthroughs, and test case evaluations.

Build deep expertise in the architecture and structure of current test frameworks.

Start designing and implementing effective test cases to support continuous integration and automation coverage.

Contribute to Agile release cycles (SAFe), ensuring product quality and release stability.

Identify test gaps and support ongoing initiatives to enhance automation strategy and coverage.

Participate in the development of robust, scalable automated test code across various platforms.

Bring forward new ideas and propose improvements to strengthen the testing and CI processes.
What you need to succeed:

Programming Language: Strong in Python, C#

Testing: Manual + automated test experience

Platforms: Familiar with Apple and Microsoft

Tools:

Automation/Dev: Pywinauto, PyCharm, Pytest, Visual Studio

Version Control: GitLab, GitHub, VMware

CI/CD: Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, JIRA, ValueEdge, other tracking tools

Cloud: Azure, AWS, GCP; SaaS delivery familiarity
- Education: Degree, diploma, or equivalent
