Your Tasks:
- Realization of sourcing requests, purchasing of indirect material incl. preparation and realization of tenders, negotiation and evaluation
- Realization of purchase requisition in Ariba SAP system for Knorr-Bremse´s plants
- Realization of saving plan within assigned categories
- Approving process administration
- Support of strategic supplier development activities in line with category strategy
- Improvement of the supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, productivity and total cost
- Reporting of achieved savings in reporting tool Wave
- Working collaboratively with key stakeholders, requestors and colleagues
- Communication with suppliers and internal customers
Your Profile:
- High school education, Bachelor's degree or comparable qualification in Business Administration or a related field is benefit
- Min. 4 years of professional experience in indirect purchasing or comparable responsibility, knowledge of marketing commodity is an advantage
- Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier relationship management practices are preferred
- Professional English & German both verbal and written
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with SAP (Ariba module) is a plus
- Willingness to take over the responsibility for your decision with an impact on other colleagues, costs, etc.
- Strong communication, negotiation- and purchasing skills
- Self-driven, open-minded and team-player person
- Readiness for changes, further development, facing new challenges
- Willingness to work in an international environment with business trips within Europe occasionally
