Tactical Buyer for Marketing and Communication category in Indirect Purchasing

Your Tasks:

 

  • Realization of sourcing requests, purchasing of indirect material incl. preparation and realization of tenders, negotiation and evaluation
  • Realization of purchase requisition in Ariba SAP system for Knorr-Bremse´s plants
  • Realization of saving plan within assigned categories
  • Approving process administration
  • Support of strategic supplier development activities in line with category strategy
  • Improvement of the supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, productivity and total cost
  • Reporting of achieved savings in reporting tool Wave
  • Working collaboratively with key stakeholders, requestors and colleagues
  • Communication with suppliers and internal customers

 

 

Your Profile:

 

  • High school education, Bachelor's degree or comparable qualification in Business Administration or a related field is benefit
  • Min. 4 years of professional experience in indirect purchasing or comparable responsibility, knowledge of marketing commodity is an advantage
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier relationship management practices are preferred
  • Professional English & German both verbal and written
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with SAP (Ariba module) is a plus
  • Willingness to take over the responsibility for your decision with an impact on other colleagues, costs, etc.
  • Strong communication, negotiation- and purchasing skills
  • Self-driven, open-minded and team-player person
  • Readiness for changes, further development, facing new challenges
  • Willingness to work in an international environment with business trips within Europe occasionally
