As a Software Engineering Manager, you will:

Lead and develop a high-performing team of software engineers.

Serve as a subject matter expert for the product and functions your team owns.

Have decision-making autonomy regarding your team’s operations and objectives.

Job Description and Requirements

Your Responsibilities 

As a leader in the infrastructure group, you will: 

  • Oversee a Scrum team, ensuring its success through Agile principles and leadership. 

  • Drive organizational efficiency through industry best practices for SaaS products. 

  • Lead an internal Observability and SRE teams that apply state-of-the-art solutions to assure frictionless delivery of Relativity products. 

  • Allocate team members’ efforts strategically based on organizational needs. 

  • Manage the team's workload, hiring, and performance evaluation. 

  • Leverage technical leads and architects to develop effective solutions. 

  • Foster a high-performance culture and cost-effective practices. 

  • Provide continuous employee development opportunities to help your team grow. 

  • Serve as a technology advisor, staying ahead of industry trends. 

  • Contribute hands-on to software design, development, and integration. 

  • Develop a strategic vision for your team's domains. 

  • Implement operational policies and drive process improvements. 

Required Qualifications 

  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills 

  • 4+ years of experience leading software engineering teams 

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial-grade software development 

  • Experience leading distributed teams 

  • Familiarity with modern programming languages and object-oriented programming 

  • Knowledge of high-performance, fault-tolerant distributed systems 

  • Experience with Cloud native architecture 

  • Proficiency with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) and SRE practices 

  • Ability to motivate teams and improve efficiency under pressure 

  • Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills 

  • Experience with Agile methodologies 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience working in or leading an SRE or Observability function within a SaaS organization. 

  • Familiarity with cloud-native platforms and AIOps solutions (e.g., BigPanda, Moogsoft, Keep, custom ML). 

  • Experience with service-level instrumentation, resiliency management and automation of operational tasks. 

  • Cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS, GCP

Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices.

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.

The expected salary range for this role is between following values:

252 000 and 378 000PLN

The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
