Assistant Manager - Sales

Purpose of Role: As the Assistant Manager – Sales, you will be responsible for driving the sales of comminution products across the strategically significant mining belt covering Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, and parts of Gujarat.

This role entails managing the complete sales cycle—from quotation through to revenue realization—while focusing on territory development, competitive intelligence, and strategic planning. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and deliver outstanding customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market & Opportunity Identification: Analyze and identify potential crushing zones and business opportunities in the mining sector, particularly in iron ore and silica sand processing.

  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients to drive long-term business growth.

  • Sales & Business Development: Generate leads, develop new business, and expand existing accounts through strategic sales initiatives.

  • Techno-Commercial Management: Prepare and present tailored techno-commercial proposals, lead negotiations, and finalize orders.

  • Project & Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and successful commissioning.

  • Revenue & Service Management: Ensure timely payment collection and coordinate after-sales service to maintain high customer satisfaction.

  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.



Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred).

  • 4–6 years of experience in industrial or mining equipment sales, preferably in crushing and screening or comminution products.

  • Strong understanding of the mining industry landscape in Central and Eastern India.

  • Proven ability to manage the complete sales cycle—from lead generation to order closure and payment realization.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective counter-strategies.
