Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Media Buyer to join our team. The Media Buyer will play a crucial role in planning and executing effective media campaigns to maximize brand visibility and reach our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Media Planning and Strategy:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop media plans aligned with the overall marketing objectives.
    • Analyze target demographics, market trends, and competitor activities to identify optimal media channels.
  2. Negotiation and Purchasing:
    • Negotiate media buys, including but not limited to, TV, radio, print, digital, and social media platforms, to secure favorable rates and placements.
    • Manage budgets effectively to ensure efficient use of resources.
  3. Vendor Management:
    • Build and maintain relationships with media vendors, negotiating rates and ensuring adherence to contracts and agreements.
    • Monitor vendor performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  4. Campaign Optimization:
    • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, such as CPM, CPC, CTR, and ROAS.
    • Implement optimization strategies to improve campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  5. Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, audience behaviors, and new media opportunities.
    • Use data-driven insights to inform media buying decisions.
  6. Reporting and Analytics:
    • Generate regular reports detailing campaign performance, including key metrics and insights.
    • Provide actionable recommendations based on performance data.
  7. Stay Updated on Industry Trends:
    • Keep abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in media buying.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in media buying or a related role.
  • Proficiency in media buying tools and platforms (e.g., Nielsen, Mediaocean, AdWords, etc.).
  • Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
