Description

The SentryTech Lead will be responsible for documentation and analysis of data through various platforms, systems and processes associated with IoT solutions that lead to internal and customer cost savings and efficiencies. You will be engaged in internal and external fieldwork and training, focusing on delivering standardized analysis on digital transformation, recognizing, and improving upon the essential trends in our industry. This position will report to the Director of R&D IoT Technology.


Job Duties:

  • Coordinate and lead daily team meetings with Service Leadership sharing results of the analysis or KPI that ultimately provide automated improvements by garnering internal and external efficiencies.
  • Manage dispatching of IoT serviced items for events and conditions that are not remedied through remote automation.
  • Proactively identify conditions and potential root cause(s) utilizing IS360 and Elastic.
  • Develop automated Service procedures with detailed scope of work to address and fix conditions that require dispatching of a technician.
  • Optimize call routing through existing dispatch resource teams.
  • Document call resolution in Dispatch software programs (i.e., ServiceMax, MobileTech, JIRA & Chronicall), in conjunction with the ERP systems (i.e., Business Central & Great Plains) to capture internal and external cost savings.
  • Managing the scheduling of automated and or scheduled software upgrades to improve the customer experience. 
  • Document dispatching procedures associated with IoT serviced items (i.e Visio, Microsoft Word & Excel).
  • Design and document specifications for dispatch automation procedures including but not limited to:
  • Dispatch software programs
  • Service Modules
  • ERP systems

Key Metrics (KPIs)

  • Cost Savings (internal and external) associated with conditions that require a truck roll for IoT serviced items
  • 100% Completion of Documentation of procedures.
  • 100% of Specifications completed.

Key Relationships

  • This position will work extensively with IT, CCC, Dispatch, Sales, and Service Management.
Requirements
  • Highschool Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 10+ years of Service experience in the PEI industry.
  • Process and documentation focused.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Must be able to meet company’s employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the company 
  • Physical Requirements: include occasional lifting/carrying of 10 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
