Job description

Main Purpose
The Customer & Sales Experience position is responsible for customer satisfaction and support, following up with customers, inputting and completing orders, and inputting sales leads. Professionally handle incoming requests from customers and ensure that issues are resolved both promptly, thoroughly, and according to procedure.

Also responsible for developing, maintaining, and interacting primarily utilizing the phone and other forms of electronic communication to a broad scope of new and existing customers to increase sales of our products and/or services.
Reporting to: Customer Experience Manager


Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly and efficiently gather customer information, access and fulfil customer needs, educate the customer where applicable to prevent the need for future contacts and document interactions/activities.
  • Provide quality service and support in a variety of areas including, but not limited to placing orders, ETDs/Lead times and product and services.
  • Troubleshoot customer issues over the phone and electronic methods.
  • Handle issues in the best interest of both customer and company.
  • Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customers’ experience.
  • Contact existing customer through, but not limited to, phone calls, email, mailings, fax and seminars to communicate opportunities to extend initiatives with the company.
  • Conduct selling efforts as needed.
  • Facilitate new processes, tools, communications, training, and methodologies to ensure sales program's success across teams and departments throughout the company.
  • Serve with other departmental management to facilitate relationships among members of these various departments and locations to achieve the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Ensure reporting and communications is frequent and bi-directional.
  • Identify revenue opportunities within customers' communities through communications and other activities as needed.
  • Call prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline.
  • Keeps management informedof all activity, including timely preparation of reports.
  • Establish credibility throughout the organization as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
