We are looking for a Power Module Process Development Engineer who will be focusing on Solid State Relay (SSR) support from FOL to EOL Assembly.

About the job:

  • Develop and qualify new SSR packages and variants, ensuring robust process design and implementation aligned with product requirements.
  • Support post-NPD ramp-up and resolve technical issues in production related to SSR products, ensuring smooth transition and sustained performance.
  • Lead or contribute to project activities, including requirement gathering, design reviews, tooling DFM, and cross-functional collaboration for both new and existing SSR product and process improvements.
  • Conduct project phase reviews, failure analysis, and improvement planning, ensuring timely consolidation and reporting of project outcomes.
  • Manage project logistics, including timeline, resources, budget, and procurement of direct and indirect BOM items necessary for project execution.
  • Assess technical feasibility and select suppliers for new processes and materials, support supplier qualification, audits, and collaboration with Global Supply Chain, Quality, and Supplier Development teams.
  • Facilitate internal and external audits, maintain APQP-compliant documentation, guide associate engineers, and support cross-functional collaboration from FOL to EOL, including occasional international travel for knowledge transfer and supplier development.

About you:

  • BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Material Science, or Engineering.
  • 4+ years hands-on experience with POWER MODULE and /or Power Discrete products/packages/process development and qualification
  • Clear and effective written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of various structured problem-solving methodologies used in the industry
  • Experience with semiconductor FOL (wire bond / diebond) is preferred.
  • Basic Knowledge of APQP and Statistical Tools is preferred.
  • Positive and open-minded attitude to work with a multinational global team.
  • Knowledge in the assembly & test processes, materials, and equipment typically used in power module  
  • Basic project management skill and experience in leading and supporting multi-functional groups is a plus
  • Understanding of basic simulation results used in development for power module packages is a bonus.
  • Knowledge and Experience in AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Experience with Power Module Test Development is a plus.
  • Strong Presentation skill is a plus.
