About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for automating, scaling, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across all environments.

Key Responsibilities

• CI/CD Automation: Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and manage infrastructure using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.

• Cloud Management: Build, maintain, and optimize cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure), including provisioning, cost monitoring, and scaling.

• Containerization & Orchestration: Manage and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes (preferably EKS/GKE/AKS).

• Monitoring & Alerting: Set up observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.) to ensure system health and quick incident response.

• Security & Compliance: Implement DevSecOps best practices including secrets management, vulnerability scanning (SAST, DAST), and IAM policies.

• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA, and security teams to streamline development and deployment workflows.

• Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Participate in on-call rotations and quickly address system outages and performance issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)

• Solid expertise in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

• Proficiency in managing and automating deployments on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Hands-on experience with containerization and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Python, or Go).

• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and logging tools.

• Strong understanding of networking, security, and load balancing in cloud environments.

• Familiarity with version control (Git) and agile development practices.

• Certification in AWS/GCP/Azure (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).

• Certification in Kubernetes like CKA/CKAD

• Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., HIPAA, SOC2, ISO 27001).

• Exposure to service mesh (Istio/Linkerd), API gateways, or serverless architecture.

• Experience in DevSecOps and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of database and storage optimization in cloud environments.
