We’re looking for a commercially sharp and data-driven (Senior) Manager Price Optimization to join our Pricing team at AUTODOC. You will translate market dynamics, elasticity insights and category guidance into pricing tactics and SKU-level strategies to maximize profitable growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and operationalize pricing strategies and tactics tailored to individual markets and product categories.

  • Leverage elasticity data and pricing performance analytics to optimize price moves and proactively adjust strategies.

  • Conduct scenario modeling and what-if analyses to forecast the financial and volume impact of pricing decisions, cost changes, promotional events and competitive moves.

  • Revise and manage pricing parameters within the pricing toolbox (e.g. margin floors, markups, price corridors, market positioning) based on category strategy and market conditions.

  • Publish regular dashboards and insights reports to Pricing leadership and Category Management, tracking pricing performance against targets.

  • Monitor margin performance, revenue delivery and pricing competitiveness against top competitors and market benchmarks.

  • Apply SKU-level segmentation to implement differentiated pricing tactics for specific business goals (e.g. pricing top-searched SKUs for customer acquisition or retaining strategic assortments).

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

(Product) Profit / (Revenue) vs Plan (ultimately Gross Profit / Revenue) by market / category Forecast Accuracy (predicted vs actual performance) Margin Adherence Rate (% of SKUs / revenue hitting prescribed margin levels) Incremental revenue / profit impact of pricing actions Price Index by market / category (vs tier 1 competitors) New customer acquisition / customer retention metrics
