Position Overview:
Unrivaled Sports is seeking a smart, dynamic, and self-motivated individual to join and grow with our marketing team. The Email & Lifecycle Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading Unrivaled Sports email marketing efforts including, strategy development, campaign execution, performance analysis, team leadership, and optimization to drive higher engagement, retention, and revenue while increasing brand loyalty. This is a remote position that will require up to 15% travel. 

Responsibilities 

  • Create, configure and implement campaigns across email, SMS, and automation tools to support customer engagement and drive long-term retention.
  • Research and drive technology infrastructure decision-making creating holistic and scalable technology solutions across the business (email, CRM, SMS, etc.)
  • Optimize lifecycle automation workflows focused on customer experience and product sales.
  • Drive segmentation and personalization strategies to ensure messaging reaches target audiences across varying programs and experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (partnerships, retail, product, sales) to integrate lifecycle marketing into scalable technology and processes.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative metrics to optimize engagement strategies, enhance conversion rates, and provide leadership with the performance of marketing initiatives. 
  • Collaborate with sales and customer success to refine lead-nurture strategies and sales handoff workflows.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in lifecycle marketing, AI-driven personalization, and customer engagement.
  • Drive email marketing operation improvements with automation, standardization, and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain a project management base for all email campaigns.
  • Ensure all email communications comply with CAN-SPAM, CASL, and GDPR regulations, maintaining industry standards for deliverability and best practices.

Qualifications 

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in email & lifecycle marketing; preferably 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of email best practices including subject lines, messaging, list management, deliverability, and CAN-SPAM/CASL/GDPR laws
  • Experience measuring marketing performance in various channels
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs and campaigns from concept to completion
  • Proficiency in creating detailed reports, analyzing metrics, and translating complex data into actionable insights
  • Ability to manage projects independently and work in fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative worker who excels both working individually and, in a team
  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and passion for delivering exception customer experiences
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce)
