Description

CorServ is looking for a Business Development Executive to build and maintain strategic relationships with key decision-makers within the banking and financial technology space. In this role, you will develop positive relationships with key decision-makers to promote CorServ’s products and services to prospective clients. Our ideal candidate has experience selling credit card issuing programs and payment solutions to financial institutions, with a consultative, client-focused approach.


  

Responsibilities:

  • Become a trusted subject matter expert in all of CorServ’s credit card issuing program options and how they meet the needs of clients.
  • Learn and be able to articulate CorServ's positions on credit card issuing topics including commercial cards, virtual cards, rebates, fraud management, compliance, underwriting, marketing, servicing, expense reporting, and settlement. Utilize CorServ subject matter experts to learn about these topics.
  • Generate leads for credit card issuing opportunities through market analysis and outreach, marketing, conferences and networking.
  • Establish new prospect relationships and grow an overall portfolio of contacts and potential future revenue.
  • Lead business development presentations (virtual and in-person) to prospects, including available features and services, customized to the prospect’s payment card needs.
  • Orchestrate the business development process through signing of contracts to obtain your targeted number of signed contracts annually.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree. 
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a direct sales role related to payment solutions, financial technology, or other related field.
  • Experience in creating and delivering sales presentations and proposals for financial services products to financial institutions.
  • Experience in selling credit card issuing and/or debit/pre-paid programs to Banks and FinTech prospects.
  • Demonstratable skills in planning, organization, follow-up, and reporting.
  • Excellent interpersonal, consultative, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify appropriate solutions tailored to client’s needs.
  • Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Advanced competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and sales pipeline tools.
  • Experience with Pro Forma, Return on Assets (ROA) and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis.
