Voyage Financial Advisors, an established financial services practice for Thrivent in Central Wisconsin, is looking for a full-time Senior Client Services Administrator (CSA) focused on application processing and related work to support our clients and their Financial Advisors. The Senior Client Service Administrator (CSA) position is critical for achieving leverage of our clients and Financial Advisors’ time. The role supports daily operations of the practice by preparing and completing pre/post meeting work, responding to service requests, maintaining client information, and other administrative tasks assigned. It requires a friendly demeanor, commitment and availability, strong attention to detail, high production capacity, and effective written and verbal communication skills. This role is preferred to be based out of one of our offices in Stevens Point, Wausau, or Eau Claire. Hybrid or remote may be an option.


This position compensates $55-65,000 annually dependent upon licensure and experience. Benefits include: options for life and health insurance, PTO, holiday pay, IRA with match. *MUST LIVE in Wisconsin to be considered*

         

          

Role Responsibilities:

  • Uphold the mission, vision, and values of the company in all interactions.
  • Assist the Operations Manager in the daily business needs of the practice as assigned.
  • Assist in the development and training of current and future Client Service Administrators (CSA).
  • Problem solve and provide verbal and/or written support and solutions to Financial Advisors and Planners.
  • Prepare for client meetings and related services.
  • Manage and prioritize daily workload in a task queue based system.
  • Be proficient and adapt to changes in Thrivent’s insurance and investment product offerings.
  • Be proficient and adapt to changes in Thrivent’s many systems including, but not limited to; Salesforce, Docupace, DocuSign, Wealthscape, Envestnet, DST Vision, ipipeline, TaxPort, and Microsoft Sharepoint.
  • Independently prepare electronic and paper applications as directed for client accounts and policies including, but not limited to, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, Long-Term Care Insurance, Annuities, Mutual Funds, Brokerage, etc.
  • Prepare and coordinate a wide variety of internal and external financial transaction forms for wet ink and/or electronic client signature.
  • Research and successfully execute on internal and external company requirements for insurance underwriting, ACATS/Non-ACATS transfers, rollovers, 1035 exchanges, conversions, premium payments, distributions, contributions, and other financial transactions.
  • Assist with maintaining internal and external compliance and case management duties.
  • Assist Management, Financial Advisors, and Planners in verbal and written correspondence with Thrivent home office staff and departments.
  • Research and correctly report on inquiries regarding client accounts and policies.
  • Handle verbal and/or written communications with prospective and existing clients regarding accounts, policies, and financial matters.
  • Obtain, organize, maintain, protect, and manage secure private and confidential data within our systems.
  • Attend all Thrivent office professional training courses and periodic product specific meetings as applicable.
  • Identify and help develop procedural process efficiencies in application and forms preparation and completion.
  • Attend client meetings to assist Financial Advisors with applications, forms, and meeting notes dictation as needed.
  • Teach clients how to register and access their accounts and statements online.
  • Support the preparation of correspondence, reports, and special projects assigned.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications

  • Experience working for Thrivent and/or similar financial institution preferred.
  • Wisconsin Life & Health and/or Securities licensed preferred.
  • Experience working in Salesforce preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, accounting, information technology, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of working experience in banking, insurance, annuities, underwriting, investments, accounting, claims and/or other related financial services fields.
  • Knowledge of IRS registration types and rules, insurance and investment transfer and exchange transactions, and basic financial accounting concepts.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete a work queue of 20-40 tasks assigned daily and maintain a high quality of work.
  • Competency to read and identify critical information from financial account statements, insurance policies, tax documents, and key legal documents (e.g. trusts, Durable POAs, release of information authorizations, articles of incorporations, etc.).
  • Must be able to cultivate and maintain relationships with all internal and external staff, departments, and organizations.
  • Must maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information and compliance with all internal and external rules and regulations.
  • Strong technical computer aptitude with knowledge of business tools (e.g. Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, Sharepoint).
  • Ability to learn and develop independently with training and support from resources provided by Thrivent.

Career Progression

May advance to Support Advisor, Operations Manager, or stay in this position for the length of career.
