We are looking for a

Sr Medical Affairs Specialist EMEA

based in Spain (Madrid or Barcelona).

Meet the team: 

Join our dynamic EMEA Medical Affairs team—an international group of around 20 professionals based across multiple countries. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is a diabetes subject matter expert with clinical and professional education experience to join a lively team to support Dexcom’s efforts to educate stakeholders and drive CGM as standard of care for people living with diabetes through the creation of education materials.  

Where you come in:

  • You will work within the EMEA medical affairs team, global medical affairs, and cross-functionally including EMEA marketing to align on professional education priorities and co-develop education strategy and roadmap with EMEA marketing.  
  • You will leverage many sources of information to develop educational materials, including emerging clinical trial data and clinical guidelines. 
  • You will develop educational materials that will be employed by field medical specialists with impactful messaging highlighting the value of CGM in different populations and providing education on how CGM can be leveraged to manage patients with diabetes.  
  • You will work closely with EMEA marketing to develop content including for Dexcom’s web-based education hub.  
  • You will develop compelling PowerPoint slide decks that will be employed in advisory boards.  

What makes you successful: 

  • You are a qualified and registered nurse, dietitian, or educator or another relevant clinical qualification. 
  • You have extensive experience in the education and treatment of patients with diabetes, with good knowledge of CGM, technology and its use as a diabetes management tool. 
  • You have extensive experience in developing educational materials.  
  • You are team-focused with a collaborative approach to work. 
  • You are fluent in English with the ability to read and interpret clinical and scientific documents.

Experience and Education Requirements:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 – 8 years of related experience.
