  • Crunching numbers and turning compensation data into actionable insights—your analytics directly influencing hiring and retention decisions.

  • Collaborating with HR and recruiting teams, guiding them through salary offers and job leveling conversations.

  • Conducting detailed market analysis using tools like Mercer and Radford to ensure our compensation remains competitive and equitable.

  • Developing models and scenarios to help leadership visualize compensation strategies aligned with Luma’s ambitious growth plans.

  • Updating job architectures and compensation structures as we scale, ensuring fairness and transparency remain core to our values.

  • Keeping a pulse on market trends and proactively recommending adjustments to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving AI landscape.

Your Background Looks Something Like

The Essentials:

  • 3-5 years in compensation, finance, or analytical roles, ideally in fast-paced tech or startup environments.

  • Expert-level spreadsheet skills—you love creating pivot tables, complex models, and scenario analyses.

  • Hands-on experience with salary benchmarking surveys like Mercer, Radford, and Pave.

  • Strong grasp of equity compensation, private company valuation, and option pricing (e.g., 409A).
