Job description

 

Job Summary

Delaware Valley University invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty positions to teach a range of courses in our online Master’s in Healthcare Administration (MHA) program. We maintain a file of potential candidates for review as need arises. We contact candidates when a match is identified and keep this position continually posted in order to maintain an active pool.

The MHA program offers asynchronous online courses in 15-week terms in the Fall, Spring and Summer terms.

Responsibilities include: Teaching assigned courses under the supervision of the program director; student learning outcomes assessment; participation in ad hoc curriculum development/review and continued professional development.

Possible Teaching Assignments include:

  • U.S. Healthcare Systems
  • Ethical, Legal and Policy Issues in Healthcare Management
  • Marketing and Communications for Healthcare Leadership
  • Data Analytics and Impact for Healthcare Managers
  • Quality and Performance Improvement for Healthcare Transformation
  • Operations and Value-Based Strategies in Healthcare

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Master’s degree, preferably in healthcare administration (MHA) or in business/management (MBA) with a healthcare focus from a regionally accredited institution.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in healthcare administration. Clinical healthcare experience in a leadership role will also be considered.
  • Prior teaching or training experience is strongly preferred.
