Job description

The primary function of this role is to manage and oversee all procurement activities for the organization. This involves sourcing and purchasing goods and services from both domestic and international suppliers, ensuring quality standards and cost-efficiency, and maintaining accurate records of transactions.

This position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic, multi-industry procurement team, gaining exposure to a wide range of market sectors and international business practices. The role is uniquely positioned for someone with a strong background in ERP systems, especially NetSuite, allowing for streamlined and efficient procurement processes.

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals.
  • Manage the complete procurement cycle, ensuring compliance with both internal policies and external regulations.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and build strategic relationships.
  • Perform cost analysis and set appropriate benchmarks.
  • Coordinate with international suppliers and manage logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Work closely with various departments to assess their procurement needs and specifications.
  • Maintain detailed records of all procurement activities, including inventory control, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
  • Proven experience as a buyer or procurement officer in various industries.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems, with specific expertise in NetSuite.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding component specifications and technical drawings.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to handle complex projects and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of fostering strong supplier relationships.
  • Knowledge of international trade and customs regulations.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing scenarios and handle various product categories.
