Product Marketing Manager (Remote)

About the Role
We’re seeking a hands-on Product Marketing Manager to lead and execute marketing activities for FoodChain ID’s Technical Services division in the U.S. You’ll define product positioning, execute launches, create compelling customer-facing materials, and help drive demand for our Testing, Certification, and Food Safety solutions. This role balances strategic thinking with a strong emphasis on execution and requires excellent collaboration across sales, enablement, business leaders, and global marketing teams. 

Job Scope
As the Product Marketing Manager at FoodChain ID, you’ll be the voice of our Technical Services portfolio in the U.S. You will drive go-to-market execution, develop compelling messaging, enable sales, and support campaigns for Testing, Certification, and Food Safety services. Working closely with industry experts, commercial, and global marketing teams, you will help shape market success across the U.S. 

Key Responsibilities & Duties 

Develop and execute product marketing strategies: 

  • Define the overall product marketing strategy, positioning, and messaging for our products & services. 
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify target markets, customer needs, and growth opportunities. 
  • Collaborate with product management to understand product roadmap and features, translating technical details into customer benefits. 
  • Develop go-to-market plans and ensure successful product launches. 
Create compelling marketing assets: 
  • Develop clear and compelling product messaging that effectively communicates the value proposition and differentiation of our solutions. 
  • Create high-quality marketing collateral, including sales enablement materials, presentations, product videos, and case study webinars. 
  • Collaborate with design teams to create visually appealing and impactful marketing assets. Own design and content production of visually appealing and impactful mkt assets. 
Drive sales enablement: 
  • Create high-quality, customer-facing materials: value propositions, case studies, product sheets, and sales decks. 
  • Work closely with the Sales Enablement team to ensure alignment and optimization to generate pipeline from every campaign. 
  • Develop and deliver sales training to ensure internal alignment and readiness. 
Lead go-to-market initiatives: 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature updates. 
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to generate leads, increase product adoption, and drive customer engagement, according to business needs. 
  • Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth and optimization. 
Customer and market insights: 
  • Conduct customer research and gather market intelligence to understand customer needs, pain points, and competitive landscape. 
  • Develop customer personas and use market insights to inform product positioning and marketing strategies. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted marketing campaigns that resonate with specific customer segments. 
Managerial & Supervisory Responsibilities 
This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. You will collaborate cross-functionally and influence marketing and commercial priorities across the region. 

Performance Measures
 

Monthly Pipeline Generation 

This will be the most important metric.  

  • Sales Pipeline value generated from marketing initiatives 

Lead Generation: 

Number of marketing qualified leads generated through marketing campaigns, indicating the effectiveness of lead generation strategies. 

Lead Conversion: 

Percentage of leads converted into sales opportunities, indicating the effectiveness of campaign strategy, nurturing and sales alignment. 

Campaign Return on Investment 

Percentage of profit generated compared to the cost of each lead generation focused marketing campaign 

Go To Market Success: 

Evaluate the success of new launches by considering metrics such as customer MQLs, pipeline, and revenue generated during the launch period. 

Customer Engagement: 

Measure customer engagement with product-related initiatives, such as webinars, events, or user communities, through metrics such as attendance rates, participation levels, and active user counts. 

Market Research: 

Assess the effectiveness of market research initiatives by evaluating metrics such as customer feedback, customer insights generated, and market trends identified.
