Newfi Lending is hiring a REMOTE Correspondent Purchase Specialist


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review fees Closing Disclosure to ensure impounds, buydowns and credits all meet specific loan file requirements
  • Review signed loan documents to ensure all required docs were included and executed properly
  • Add conditions as needed based on loan document review
  • Work with the Correspondent account team on outstanding items prior to sending updated purchase advice
  • Oversee a pipeline of loans to ensure loans are purchased within SLA
  • Work with the Client’s Capital Markets and/or Post Closing Team as well as Newfi’s internal team
  • Perfect closing documents and data in loan origination system in preparation for purchase 
  • Communicate with internal and external partners
Requirements

  

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three (2) years’ experience in the Closing and Funding
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations in order to ensure compliance as well as extensive knowledge of recent TRID regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication is needed
  • Must be competent in servicing transfers 
  • Knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required
  • Knowledge of lending guidelines for multiple states is a plus
