Job Description

MedTrainer is looking for a highly skilled Director of Data that will be responsible for overseeing data management, integrity, and analysis across MedTrainer's systems, with a focus on ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial and operational data. This role requires a strong understanding of enterprise systems, particularly NetSuite (ERP) and Salesforce (CRM), and the ability to translate high-level direction into actionable data strategies. The Director of Data will lead a data analyst and provide insights and recommendations to executives on data management best practices.

This is a remote position based in Mexico. We are only considering candidates who currently reside in Mexico and are legally authorized to work in the country.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience working with Salesforce (CRM)
  • Proven experience in a common ERP, preferably NetSuite
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and technologies.
  • Experience with billing systems, procurement tools, and related platforms.
  • Strong foundation in data management principles, governance, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership and experience managing data analysts or data teams.
  • Ability to convert high-level direction into actionable data management plans.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and executive presentation abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Mexico.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in software and subscription businesses
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain data integrity across NetSuite (ERP), Salesforce (CRM), and other enterprise platforms.
  • Develop and implement data visualization tools (Looker, Power BI, or similar) and supporting infrastructure, including data warehousing solutions.
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency of customer billing data and processes in NetSuite.
  • Oversee, mentor, and review the work of a Data Analyst, ensuring quality and alignment with business needs.
  • Translate high-level direction from the CFO into actionable data strategies and projects.
  • Provide expert recommendations to executives on data management, system optimization, and process improvement.
  • Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess data needs and design effective solutions.
  • Analyze data trends to support key business decisions.
  • Manage data integrations across multiple systems, including NetSuite, Salesforce, billing platforms, and procurement tools.
