ROLE
Clean Air Task Force (CATF) is seeking a strategic, technical, and policy-focused Europe Policy Manager, Electricity to join our team on a one-year contract. This role will support the decarbonisation of the European power sector by shaping policy frameworks that enable the transition to a clean, affordable, and reliable electricity system across the region.
The Policy Manager will play a key role in advancing EU electricity advocacy efforts related to the Clean Industrial Deal and the Affordable Energy Action Plan, among others, on electricity system planning, market design, contracting, and other topics. The Europe Policy Manager should have knowledge and experience in navigating complex electricity and energy systems topics at the EU level. The role contributes to CATF’s mission by working to modernise Europe’s electricity markets, accelerate grid development and integration, and ensure electricity policies support deep decarbonisation across all sectors.
This position will collaborate closely with CATF’s EU advocacy team, as well as colleagues in the program teams and the communications team, to ensure coherent, high-impact policy strategies.

This is a full-time, remote position, flexible within Europe, with a preference for candidates located in Brussels. This position will be a one-year contract, with the possibility of renewal based on organizational needs.
Eligibility for this position requires existing authorization to work in your country of residence. CATF does not offer visa or work permit sponsorship.
