Job description

The Rapid Assess Developer will be responsible for implementing, testing, and deploying features to the Rapid Assess product. This role will follow the prioritized roadmap items and adhere to the business and technical direction set by the Rapid Assess Product Owner and Rapid Assess Lead Developer. The developer will be tasked with writing backend features and functions in Python, as well as developing frontend features using JavaScript frameworks such as React

Roles and Responsibilities

Implement, test, and deploy features for the Rapid Assess product.

Develop backend features and functions using Python, with a focus on frameworks such as Flask or Django.

Create and enhance frontend features using JavaScript and frameworks like React.

Conduct unit testing and collaborate closely with a Quality Assurance Analyst to resolve any identified defects.

Develop and consume RESTful APIs to support web application functionality.

Participate in agile development processes, including backlog prioritization and sprint planning.

Deploy and manage applications in AWS, ensuring robust and scalable cloud solutions

Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, for efficient deployment and management of cloud resources.

Collaborate with the Lead Developer to revise code based on feedback from code reviews.

Proactively suggest new ideas and improvements to the technology as familiarity with the codebase increases.
