The Opportunity

As a software engineering leader on the Monetization Growth organization, you will be a critical part of the team building delightful experiences driving customer success and tangible business growth. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about designing, developing, testing and improving software products and experiences to deliver Adobe magic to our millions of customers worldwide. The ideal candidate will have a combination of strong leadership skills along with the ability to work with a diverse, distributed multi-functional team.

What you'll Do
  • Lead a high performing team of engineers passionate about growing Adobe’s business and building products that our customers love.
  • Hire, mentor, retain and performance manage individual contributors and/or other managers. Balance resources across multiple simultaneous business priorities.
  • Collaborate with partners and help set product vision and strategic priorities for the team. Relentlessly prioritize work responsibilities of team members based on business impact.
  • Summarize and simplify complex information using a wide range of storytelling techniques. Engage with business leaders and executives to influence informed decision making that benefit the business.

What you need to succeed
  • Master's or PhD in Computer Science or a related field. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree with relevant practical experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of people management experience building and leading teams, with prior experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong technical background and analytical abilities, with hands-on experience in developing complex mobile and web applications. Grasp of software engineering best practices and architectural design patterns.
  • Expertise in at least one of the following programming languages – Objective-C, Swift, React Native, Kotlin or Java.
  • Proven track record of driving alignment and results, while working in a diverse, global, matrixed environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication. Ability to clearly articulate and explain complex ideas.
  • Prior experience publishing one or more apps on Google Play or Apple app store preferred.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $143,700 -- $289,900 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
