Job description

Dane Street is excited to announce an opportunity for a Dual Occupational Medicine and Pain Management Physician Advisor to join our growing team! This role allows for a flexible telework arrangement where you can provide crucial peer review services while fitting your schedule.

As a Physician Advisor, you will utilize your dual expertise to review cases and provide insights on disability claims, ensuring that each case is handled with the utmost professionalism and adherence to clinical guidelines. You will work as an independent contractor (1099), and your compensation will be based on a per-case basis.

Your responsibilities will include providing second opinions on disability claims, addressing complex medical scenarios, and using evidence-based guidelines and clinical resources to make informed determinations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in both Occupational Medicine and Pain Management with a strong understanding of the nuances involved in disability evaluations. Preferred, but not required, is familiarity with the California Independent Medical Review (IMR) process.
