Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst – Embedded Analytics & Web Portal to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of our data, dashboards, dashboard functionality, user access controls, and the overall web portal experience. You will collaborate closely with developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver a seamless, high-quality analytics platform.

 

Location: India (remote)

Work Timings: 4 AM - 1 PM EST

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute manual and automated test plans for data validation, dashboard functionality, and web portal features.
  • Review and analyze software and system specifications to ensure requirements are met.
  • Test and validate data accuracy and consistency within dashboards and underlying data sources.
  • Verify user access, permissions, and security configurations across the analytics platform and web portal.
  • Evaluate and report on the usability and functionality of embedded dashboards within the web portal.
  • Detect, document, and track defects; collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Conduct regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for new features and releases.
  • Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility for the web portal.
  • Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test cases, scripts, and results.
  • Provide clear, concise reports on QA activities and outcomes to stakeholders.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in QA testing for web applications and/or analytics platforms.
  • Experience with data validation, BI/analytics tools (preferably ThoughtSpot), and web portal testing.
  • Exposure to Agile development and QA processes
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with user access and security testing is a plus.
