Job Title: Remote Purchasing Coordinator (Mexico-based)
Location: Remote (Mexico)
Client Industry: IT Value Added Reseller (Houston, TX)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 40 Hours/Week (Regular U.S. Business Hours – Central Time)


About the Role:

Our client, a well-established IT Value Added Reseller headquartered in Houston, TX, is seeking a remote Purchasing Coordinator to support procurement operations. This position is open to candidates based anywhere in Mexico, provided they have proficient English skills (spoken and written) and prior experience in purchasing, procurement, or a similar administrative role within supply chain operations.

Reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager, this role plays a key part in ensuring timely and accurate purchasing processes for hardware, software, and IT services.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Track order statuses and ensure delivery deadlines are met
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues related to pricing, product availability, and delivery
  • Maintain procurement records and documentation for compliance and audit readiness
  • Assist with quotes, invoice reconciliation, and PO adjustments
  • Support the Purchasing Manager with other administrative and procurement-related tasks as needed

Requirements:
  • Located in Mexico with ability to work remotely full-time
  • Fluent in English (both verbal and written)
  • Previous experience in a Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain department (ideally in IT or tech-related industries)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable using procurement platforms, ERPs, or vendor portals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with remote teams

Nice to Have:
  • Experience supporting a U.S.-based company or familiarity with U.S. business practices
  • Understanding of IT hardware and software products
