Job Description
Responsible for assisting senior Investment team members in the implementation, oversight and due diligence of investment and operational decisions related to the Long-term Investment Portfolio (Portfolio) of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Experience
1 year of related work experience in investments, asset management, financial services and/or consulting
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the investment industry
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field
Certification Summary

Knowledge and demonstrated experience in investment field including: investment fund structures, strategies, key industry terms, and broad financial concepts Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to take initiative, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and consistently meet deadlines Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication, organizational, customer service, and interpersonal skills High ethical and professional standards Ability to partner constructively with current Investment Office team members and other key stakeholders throughout Children’s Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe PDF Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment and balance competing priorities Ability and willingness to engage in conversation with internal and external parties, including legal counsel and investment managers Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team Able to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges

Conducts investment research, analyzes data and produces detailed reports.
Contributes as a generalist in the due diligence process for hiring external investment managers in various asset classes, geographies and strategies.
Supports senior colleagues in analyzing potential investments by building quantitative models to evaluate performance, risk, and positioning.
Participates alongside colleagues in meetings with external investment managers, documenting discussions and providing qualitative analysis.
Contributes to asset-level underwriting of direct investment opportunities, performing security valuation and sensitivity analysis.
Assists with portfolio construction by computing key portfolio statistics (such as compounded returns, alpha, beta, volatility and correlations) and by analyzing aggregate portfolio positioning.
Updates and maintains investment databases and document archives.
